Please select which IP you want to run the query against:
Why do I see this?
In a modern day where many organizations utilize geolocation based lookups for serving DNS requests, we cannot guarantee that our routers will run the query towards the same IP as you might do yourself locally. By having you specify the query IP before running the query, we minimize the risk of confusions.
Looking Glass
The Looking Glass allows you to run a limited set of commands (bgp, ping, traceroute) directly on our routers. Select the router you are interested in from the dropdown list, then choose the type of query you want to perform:
- BGP (Border Gateway Protocol - the core routing protocol of the Internet) allows you to view routing table entries for a specified prefix for a selected router.
- Ping allows you to view round trip time between a selected router and a specified IP address or hostname.
- Traceroute allows you to view all enabled router hops encountered in the path between a selected router and a specified IP address or hostname.
When you have selected the type of query and a router, and entered an IP address or prefix, press Run.
